| This photograph was sent in by Rob Callahan from Pittsburg, California who tells us "This is a 1966 MK1 Cooper S 1275. Everything was stock except Paddy Hopkirk seats and a Madadash. The Chassis number is CA2S7766964 and the engine number is 9FY38432. I haven't owned the car since 1981 but it was my first car so how can one forget? The hood is Old English White and the body colour used to be that green olive drab but I resprayed it Antelope Brown (a Renault colour) Unfortunately the chap that bought the car from me hit a deer and proceeded to traverse the side of the mountain downward. I cannot say where in the UK the Mini was first registered but alas, the car is no more..."
